OUR LOT

Our lot is number 017. It is 150 feet wide by almost 900 feet deep--
about 3 acres in total. The lot is on the north side of Center Road
which is an east/west route. The front part of the lot, the white area before
the first line (as you can see by the picture on the Home page), is an open area.
This part of the lot is about 300 feet deep. At the first line is where
the lot begins to slope downhill quite rapidly but goes down only about
20 feet. The woods begin here and go back to the end of our lot.
About 600 feet back from the street is a small creek--about 3 feet wide
in the summer and up to 10 feet wide temporarily during heavy rains or
melting snow. We are going to build a small bridge over the creek for our
our walking trail. The walking path will be about 1/2 mile long and
and wind throughout the entire lot. At some point we hope to fence the
entire 3 acres so our dogs can run with us when we walk. Our house is
about 150 feet from the street, somewhat in the center of the front open/white area.
